Silk Screen

"Death and a Hound"
I'm taking a silk screen class this semester. Still learning the basics. However i'm lucky to have talented printmaking friends, so its not entirely foreign to me.

This one I printed today. Coming up with ideas seems to be the hardest part. I would love to hear some suggestions for future prints.

    Love the rough edges and looseness of your print. Ideas... hmm.. draw from life too- you are bound to pull in some good catches

    my suggestion is that you...
    -use your computer stuff, meaning clean graphic material, then do layers of painterly strokes.
    -experiment with some bit map dot stuff. CMYK you know that kind of stuff.
    -lots of transparent layers similar process of how you paint your illustrations.
