Started to try some new things... then my scanner broke.

Something Different

I am going to try and do something different while i have so much free time. I want to try and create an illustration that is mostly composed digitally. Although I can finish a painting rather quickly, It can be difficult for me to scan them because of their size. My goal is to create an illustration with the same feel as my paintings but on a smaller scale and mostly digital.

I figured a good way to start would be to paint a small canvas as a texture that can be easily scanned.

my next step will be to start sketches for the illustration.

Black and White

I'm trying to work in black and white a little more.

Finished (maybe) Pokemon

"Ezekiel" Oil on canvas.

This is a portrait of my most recent starter Pokemon, Ezekiel (Oshawott). I really enjoyed painting this. I hope I managed to paint a Pokemon tastefully.

Finished Print

 I am not sure how I feel about this piece. I like it, but I also really like the one without the black layer.

I might redesign the black and print it again.

This is slowly coming along. I decided not to plan out this image so much, but instead just experiment and see what looks good as I go along. It helps me develop new techniques.

More Comic of the Same

I ran into some printing issues so I will probably reprint this in the future. This is only half of the comic. Might have to wait till Static fish comes out to see the whole thing.
