add a thin outline to the purple star shapes to bring them out a bit - try it on a copy first!

I did but i noticed the colors are all wrong on my blog, I think because it is CMYK and not RGB. I will try and fix this.
Maybe some deeper color in the mouth around/between the teeth rows to bring out the teeth and make the gullet--throat-- in center scarier.Looks like a teeth spiral--maybe...
